For the third year in a row, the LanZzete international surgical platform has been hosting medical students studying in the United States, who have the opportunity to spend their summer term in Armenia.
ATTENTION. Based on the numerous inquiries we have received from foreign applicants applying to Yerevan State Medical University (YSMU), we would like to provide the following clarifications.
Professor Ada Yonath, laureate of the 2009 Nobel Prize in Chemistry and the Israel Prize, YSMU Honorary Doctor and an international model of scientific courage and perseverance, passed away on August 31, 2026. She was 87.
The information on the admission of first-year foreign applicants (those who have passed the exam at YSMU) will be posted on the YSMU website – ysmu.am, immediately after the completion of the second round of exams, on October 5, 2026, at 10:00 PM.
