A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Yerevan State Medical University named after Mkhitar Heratsi and the leading pediatric hospital in Los Angeles, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA).
29/09/2026At the proposal of Professor Ara Babloyan, Chairman of the Board of Governors and Scientific Director of the Arabkir Medical Center–Institute of Child and Adolescent Health, renowned physician-urologist, Professor and pediatric urology specialist Paul Merguerian will join the distinguished ranks of visiting professors of Yerevan State Medical University.
Held on September 22–25, the event brought together physicians, scientists, lecturers, and healthcare professionals from Armenia and abroad with the aim of exchanging professional experience, contemporary approaches, and best international practices.

The YSMU “School of Pediatrics” organized a boot camp for first- and second-year pediatric residents, as well as for medical graduates who had not yet decided on their area of specialization; the event served as a vital platform for professional growth, the exchange of experience, and the establishment of new connections.
On September 4-5th 2026 OMI Satellite Symposium on Advanced Peripheral Nerve Imaging (US and MRI) and Ultrasound-Guided Interventions took place at the Radiology Center of the YSMU “Heratsi” Hospital Complex.
