Goulia Ohan, an Epidemiologist, Assistant Professor in the Department of Epidemiology and first-year clinical resident in the Department of Infectious Diseases, recently presented our country in the Weill Cornell Infectious Diseases Seminar organized by the Open Medical Institute in Salzburg.
World Pneumonia Day is on November 12 and, like every year, it is dedicated to spread awareness among people to understand the need to stand together and demand action in the fight against this disease.

Every year since 1999, the events organized on this day are aimed at raising the level of awareness about cardiovascular diseases, prevention and management of those diseases.
oday was the opening of the room with telemedicine facilities at “Muratsan” University Hospital Complex.The auditorium is equipped with telecommunication facilities and is designed for students, clinical residents and doctors.Bagrat Baveyan, chief doctor of the Muratsan Hospital Complex, said that discussions, round tables, as well as lectures will be organized here. “In order to discuss cases of illness, doctors will be able to communicate online with foreign colleagues to hold consultations to organize the treatment of the patients more efficiently,” said the chief doctor.
