History
Founded in 2011 (2000).
The sub-faculty of Nurse Care Organization was founded in 2000, at the National Institute of Health, on the basis of the Yerevan “Erebuni” State Medical College (currently: Yerevan Armenian-American “Erebuni” State Medical College) by the initiative of Doctor of Medical Sciences Alina Maximi Kushkyan, who heads the sub-faculty to this day.
Professors with academic degrees and nurse-lecturers were included in the teaching staff of the department.
During the years of the sub-faculty activity, nurses, midwives, junior medical workers, senior nurses from Yerevan and from different regions of the republic were trained within the framework of the courses.
Since 2011, the chair has been operating at Yerevan at State Medical University after M.Heratsi.
Trainings
Nurses of all profiles are trained at the department: midwives, junior medical workers, senior nurses.
The training is conducted in the form of lectures and practical classes in the pre-clinical offices of the Armenian-American “Erebuni” State Medical College of Yerevan.
During training, trainees improve their skills through theoretical and practical classes.
