Scientific and research activities

1992 – Completed thesis: “Surgical Treatment of Infected Bone Defects in Children”, and received degree of Ph.D.

Have more than 89 published abstracts and articles and 20 innovations. One of the inventions: “The new technique of short below the knee stumps lengthe¬ning”, was presented as a poster at American Academy of Orthopedic Sur¬geons (AAOS) meeting (2000) and at European Pediatric Orthopedic Society (EPOS) meeting (1999) (see attached file #1-2). The other invention: “A unique design for a club foot brace” was presented at Association of Children’s Prosthetic-Orthotic Clinics (ACPOC) meeting (2004) (attached file #3).

2006 – Member, International Editorial Board, Journal of Children’s Orthopedics (JCO).

2008 – Member, International Editorial Board, Journal of Pediatric Orthopedics (JPO).
