This is evidenced, in particular, by the successes registered in the field of oncology, the methods of diagnosis and treatment applied in accordance with international standards&rdquo;, YSMU Rector Armen Muradyan mentioned in his speech to the upcoming event.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The vision of SIOP, the International Society of Pediatric Oncology, is: &#8220;No child should die of cancer.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">About 100 primary cases of childhood cancer are registered in Armenia every year. This is a global average. 75 of these children recover completely, this is very close to the best international indicators. Unfortunately, we lose 25 children a year, and these are not just numbers for us.
