Indian future doctor Ipshita Gera is proud that she is a graduate of Yerevan State Medical University.<\/p>\n
\u201cI tried to learn something every day, listen attentively and engage actively in classes and had my doubts ready for my professors who efficiently answered them while clearing my concepts. I have always believed that while average minds discuss events and people, great minds discuss ideas, I have been fortunate enough to be surrounded by people who were hardworking and goal oriented especially my seniors who I could call to discuss strategies for preparation and when the stress of exams was overwhelming as well as my juniors who supported me throughout these years\u201d, Ipshita tells.<\/p>\n
Her advice to future doctors is: \u201clearn to save lives\u201d \u2024<\/p>\n
It is a very proud moment for another Indian graduate, Pankaj Bhati, to be called \u201cDoctor\u201d. \u201cMy way to YSMU was paved by my elder brother who himself graduated from YSMU. Seeing him being addressed as a doctor made me realize this is what I want to achieve in my life. And these 6 years in YSMU made me gain this achievement.<\/p>\n
Now I plan to walk on the same path for achieving greater heights in my profession and making my parents prouder\u201d, he assures.<\/p>\n
Sharon Singh, YSMU Indian alumna, always wanted to be a doctor. \u201cI didn\u2019t know where this path would lead me, but God opened the doors for me at the right time.<\/p>\n
YSMU played a very big role in making this dream come true\u201d, she says.<\/p>\n
Sharon got to know about the university through her friends who were already studying here. \u201cAnd I did some research before enrolling for this beautiful adventure of 6 years. I\u2019m thankful to all my professors and doctors for the knowledge they shared and for the constant support\u201d, she adds.<\/p>\n
Her advice for juniors is to fall in love with what they study, work hard and have faith in theirselves\u2024<\/p>\n
