The first session of “Dandy” neurosurgical club took place at YSMU “COBRAIN” Scientific-Educational Center for Basic Brain Research.<\/p>\n
The event “Journal Club” was the first of its kind at the university. <\/p>\n
According to Vice-Rector for Science, “COBRAIN” Coordinator Konstantin Yenkoyan, it is very important that one of the first events held at the Center is dedicated to the neurosurgical field.<\/p>\n
“The center will combine science and clinical activity. And it is not accidental that “Dandy” club starts its activities in this beautiful place. Students come here to be inspired by new and creative ideas”, the Vice-Rector stressed. <\/p>\n
Ruben Fanarjyan, Head of the Chair of neurosurgery, Head of the specialized center for neurosurgery and treatment of cerebral palsy at “Heratsi” N1 hospital complex, confessed that he missed the students very much.<\/p>\n
“Eleven years ago, the “Dandy” club was established in the US state of Missouri. I am proud that such a club was established in Armenia at the Medical University, and it is a great honor for me to participate in its first session”, Ruben Fanarjyan said. <\/p>\n
Burhan Ilyas, Vice-President of “Dandy” neurosurgery club, Indian future doctor, in his turn, emphasized that “Dandy” was the first such club in our country. “It will pave the way for all those who aspire to specialize in the field of neurosurgery”, Burhan added.<\/p>\n
