Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia Arayik Harutyunyan, YSMU Rector Armen Muradyan and the teaching staff were present at the solemn sitting. The event, which has become a tradition for everyone, was not crowded this year, but it was expected, symbolic and important not only for the graduates, but also for the teaching staff and all Armenians. The participants once again expressed their respect and homage to all the medical workers of the Republic of Armenia who came out to fight against the coronavirus contagion on the front lines.<\/p>\n
YSMU Rector Armen Muradyan congratulated the participants, as well as the students, participating in the remote session of the Scientific Council, and noted that, despite all the difficulties, the day was solemn and touching. «Doctors and medical workers have been raised in this building for almost a century: they have ensured the medical security of our people. I bow to all of you, and I am sure that the oaths, that have been taken in front of this building for years, have reached their goal», – said YSMU Rector, recalling the honorable Charles Aznavour's call to YSMU graduates to be humane. «You are needed, you can, and you are the winner», – emphasized Armen Muradyan.<\/p>\n
Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia Arayik Harutyunyan greeted the graduates following the remote session in hospitals, resuscitation departments and ambulances. «During these months you are doing a job that is as important as the work of a soldier at the border. You protect us from the invisible onslaught that spread all over the world. The specialists, who received quality education from this university, provide medical care not only to the citizens of the Republic of Armenia, but also other countries of the world», – noted the Minister, adding that the state evaluated the work done by a doctor and would evaluate it in the future.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
