He received his medical education at the University of Chicago, then at the Western University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine, Pomona, and at the Department of Preventive Medicine, University of Southern California, Los Angeles. He did his residency at the Department of Pediatrics, Children&#039;s Hospital Los Angeles University of Southern California, Los Angeles and Fellowship at the Division of Hematology\/Oncology, Children&#039;s Hospital Los Angeles University of Southern California, Los Angeles.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He has been the recipient of several awards including the American Society of Bone Marrow Transplantation HistoGenetics New Investigator Award, Paul Calabresi Clinical Oncology Career Development Award, the Ruby N.
