Dear future doctors, university students, colleagues, I congratulate you on the New Year and Christmas holidays, I wish that 2024 will be a year of peace, happiness, progress and achievements.<\/p>\n
We can record that 2023 was successful for the Medical University: we continued our development programs in educational, scientific, clinical and international directions.<\/p>\n
The number of members of our large medical family has increased and expanded.<\/p>\n
At YSMU, every third student came from another country to get medical education, but our goal is that in the near future this refers to every second student.<\/p>\n
This data proves that the university has a high international ranking, a reliable place among international medical universities. The end of the year is an opportunity to summarize the work and outline new plans.<\/p>\n
It is undeniable that improving the quality of education and implementing reforms is a continuous process.<\/strong><\/p>\n Ensuring education that meets the highest international standards should be the responsibility of each of us, with the awareness that the foundations of the country’s medical science and health care system are laid here, the stronger they are, the stronger and economically developed our state will be.<\/p>\n 2023 was also a difficult period for Armenia, we suffered irreversible losses. I wish the families of our compatriots strength, strength to overcome difficulties. Tribute to the eternal memory of heroes of our times.<\/p>\n Dozens of medical workers forcibly displaced from Nagorno Karabakh continue their professional activities under the university roof. After overcoming many difficulties, they found the strength in themselves, being faithful to their professional oath, to continue the mission of giving people health and saving lives. This is very important and special thanks to them.<\/p>\n I especially want to congratulate our colleagues who are on duty in medical institutions on holidays, all medical workers of university hospitals, may 2024 be the year of effective work, implementation of plans and goals.<\/p>\n Congratulating everyone again, I would like to emphasize that in the coming year we will direct our efforts to the development and progress of the medical university with more than a century of history.
