The Day of the Armenian Army is inextricably linked with the history of our country.<\/p>\n
On January 28, we celebrate the 32nd anniversary of the formation of the Armenian Armed Forces.<\/p>\n
Those more than three decades have been filled with many trials, triumphs, as well as hard, difficult days.<\/p>\n
The Armenian Army, still healing its scars, continues to fulfill its mission: to stand firm on the border of our country, guaranteeing the security and strengthening the statehood of the Republic of Armenia.<\/p>\n
This day is an occasion to emphasize the work of our military doctors.<\/p>\n
Three years ago, we witnessed their heroic feat on the battlefield, when the “White Army” was on the front line, shoulder to shoulder with the Armenian soldier.<\/p>\n
For many, it cost lives. This day is also their holiday. The Armenian Army is the strong defender of peace strengthening whereof is the responsibility of each of us.<\/p>\n
My wish is for lasting peace. My special bow to the Armenian soldier and the mothers who gave birth to heroes…<\/p>\n
