The &#8220;MD&#8221; Degree of the Medical University was re-approved by the Medical Council of Sri Lanka, which is the result of the re-accreditation of the given educational program of the Medical University.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The above-mentioned structure assessed the quality of Medical University education, and took into account a number of other important factors that play a key role in medical education of international students.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The certificate was issued to YSMU for a maximum period of 5 years until November, 2028. More than 200 Sri Lankan students are currently studying at the Medical University: most of them are distinguished by high achievement and discipline.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Another international achievement will enable us to:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>expand cooperation with the given country in educational platforms,<\/li>\n<li>increase the number of students from Sri Lanka;<\/li>\n<li>further expand connections and geography.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Let&#8217;s remind that in February 2024, the three &#8220;MD&#8221; educational programs of YSMU (in Armenian, English and Russian languages) received program accreditation in accordance with WFME international standards for a period of 7 years, which was awarded to the Medical University by NCEQE (National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement).
