The Department of Physical Education of Yerevan State Medical University, together with the Student Parliament, is organizing an intramural tournament in mini-football, chess, and backgammon.<\/p>\n
The professors and lecturers, staff, students of the Medical University, as well as employees of the University hospitals can participate in the tournament.<\/p>\n
The goal of the sports event is to support YSMU in the acquisition and replenishment of the manuscript “The Benefits of Medicine” by the medieval naturalist-physician, bibliographer, lexicographer Amirdovlat Amasiatsi, copied about 300 years ago, in the exceptionally valuable manuscript collection of the Matenadaran.<\/p>\n
Each of the participants will have opportunity to make their contribution (starting from 1000 drams) to this important and patriotic cause.<\/p>\n
Applications are accepted from November 25 to 29.<\/p>\n
The draw will be held on November 29, at 13:00.<\/p>\n
Sports events will be held from December 2 to 14.<\/p>\n
Applications are accepted in the YSMU Student Parliament room (Administrative Building, 1st floor).<\/p>\n
