At a solemn ceremony at the \u201cSoldier\u2019s House\u201d, attended by Alessandro Ferranti, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Italy to Armenia; members of the RA National Assembly, members of the YSMU Rectorate, future doctors; Federico Vigevano, Professor of Neurology and Psychiatry, Head of the Department of Developmental Age Disorders at the San Raffaele Institute in Italy; was awarded the honorary title of Visiting Professor at \u201cMuratsan\u201d University Hospital.<\/p>\n
YSMU Rector Armen Muradyan noted that holding this ceremony at the \u201cSoldier\u2019s House\u201d was also symbolic, since each event held here is doubly binding. \ufe0f<\/p>\n
According to Ambassador Alessandro Ferranti, it is a great honor for him to be present at the ceremony which is a reflection of how to effectively to develop cooperation between Armenia and Italy. In his opinion, the ties between the two countries are of a unique nature, and the work to deepen these relations is ongoing.<\/p>\n
Professor Federico Vigevano summed up his working visit to YSMU, \u201cSoldier’s House\u201d in a conversation with journalists: \u201cI am very impressed by today’s rather busy agenda. And receiving the title of Visiting Professor is very honorable for me, I am grateful. It is also important for me that I have been awarded this honorary title of the medical university with my activities,\u201d.<\/p>\n
The event was concluded with a tour, during which Haykuhi Minasyan, the Director of the \u201cSoldier’s House\u201d, presented the activities of the Center to the Ambassador and the professor, including rehabilitation treatment for boys, recreation, all the conditions created for employment and broad social inclusion.<\/p>\n
