{"id":217255,"date":"2026-09-22T23:21:17","date_gmt":"2026-09-22T19:21:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ysmu.am\/news\/freznoyum-hh-patvavor-hyupatosi-he\/"},"modified":"2026-09-22T23:30:27","modified_gmt":"2026-09-22T19:30:27","slug":"freznoyum-hh-patvavor-hyupatosi-he","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ysmu.am\/en\/news\/international\/freznoyum-hh-patvavor-hyupatosi-he\/","title":{"rendered":"Cooperation issues discussed with the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Armenia in Fresno"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On September 22, within the framework of the 4th International Medical Conference &#8220;In Pursuit of Excellence,&#8221; Armen Muradyan, Rector of Yerevan State Medical University (YSMU) named after Mkhitar Heratsi, hosted Berj Apkarian, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Armenia in Fresno and Honorary Professor of YSMU.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In addition to the three-day event that kicked off at the Medical University, and other matters of cooperation, the University Head and the guest discussed preparatory work for the Armenian Medical World Congress (AMWC-2027), scheduled to take place in Yerevan from July 8 to 10 of next year.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Speaking about Berj Abkarian&#8217;s involvement in the upcoming congress, the Rector expressed confidence that these efforts would open up broader horizons for our young specialists, and help establish Yerevan as a global center of medical science.
