The members of the COBRAIN Advisory Board – Zaven Khachaturyan, the President of the “Prevention of Alzheimer's disease 2020” organization, the editor-in-chief of the scientific journal “Alzheimer's & Dementia”; Alan Kaluef, the Director of the ZENEREI research center, the Head of the Neurology and Pharmacology Laboratory, Professor of neuroscience; and Jasek Jaworski, the Deputy-Head of Science at the International Institute of Molecular and Cellular Biology, head of the laboratory, expert in molecular and cellular neurobiology – joined the ranks of Visiting Professors of Yerevan State Medical University named after Mkhitar Heratsi.
COBRAIN Advisory Board Members were hosted at the Scientific-Educational Center for Fundamental Brain Research in October of this year. The purpose of the visit of the leading specialists was to discuss the research strategy of the YSMU COBRAIN Center.
It should be noted that the Medical University has more than 70 visiting professors from different countries of the world.
