Michael Agadjanyan Visiting Professor in the Department of Medical Genetics at Yerevan State Medical University

Since November 15, 2017 Michael Agadjanyan, Professor at the Department of Immunology at the Institute for Molecular Medicine (IMM), Huntington Beach, California and the Head of the Cancer Vaccines Laboratory has become Visiting Professor of Medical Genetics at Yerevan State Medical University.

Professor Agadjanyan started his professional education at Moscow State University, then received his PhD degree in Immunology and Immunochemistry at Gamaleya Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology, Moscow, Russia. After that he became Postdoctoral Fellow at Gamaleya Institute for Epidemiology and Microbiology in Russian (USSR) Academy of Medical Sciences.

Professor Agadjanyan also serves as Visiting Scientist at the Institute for Memory Impairments and Neurology Disorders (MIND) at the University of California, Irvine and Professor at the Mechnikov Institute of Vaccines and Sera, Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, Moscow, Russia.

Throughout different periods of professional career Professor Agadjanyan served as visiting professor at the universities of Wistar and Pennsylvania. He is also a member of many professional unions and societies.

Professor Agadjanyan participated in numerous international conferences and was published in the world’s famous journals.
