YSMU students are winners of competitions dedicated to National Hindi Day

On 15th September, the Indian Embassy organized the Hindi Diwas (National Hindi Day) program at Auditorium Karen Demirchyan Museum. Students of Yerevan State Medical University actively participated as both enthusiastic contestants and audience members.

The event was graced by Her Excellency Mrs. Nilakshi Saha Sinha, Indian Ambassador to Armenia and Georgia, who personally awarded the prizes to the winners.

Rahul Anil Sethi, Head of the Department of International Student Affairs at the Medical University, gave an impressive speech.

Under the Hindi category, all the prize winners were from the Medical University.

Two competitions were held: Speech and Poetry.
Speech Competition
• 1st Prize – Deepshikha
• 2nd Prize – Fatima Jamal
• 3rd Prize – Khushboo Pannu

Poetry Competition
• 1st Prize – Alquama Shabbir
• 2nd Prize – Prashansa Garg
• 3rd Prize – Raj Batra

These achievements brought great pride to the University, highlighting the students’ talent and commitment to the Hindi language.
