On November 5, 2025, the Cardiology Society of the Career Development Center at YSMU organized the event “ECG 2.0 – Decode the Leads” aimed at deepening students’ knowledge in the interpretation and practical application of electrocardiography (ECG).
The event consisted of two main parts — a theoretical lecture and practical discussions.
In the theoretical session, Dr. Ani Rapyan, Lecturer at the Department of Propaedeutics of Internal Diseases, Assistant at the Simulation Center for Practical Skills; presented the fundamental principles of ECG interpretation, stages of analysis, and clinical situations where accurate reading plays a decisive role in patient diagnosis and treatment.
During the practical session, participants had the opportunity to apply their newly gained knowledge by analyzing various clinical cases, comparing results, and discussing the process of medical decision-making.
The “ECG 2.0 – Decode the Leads” event contributed to the development of students’ professional thinking, enhanced their diagnostic skills, and promoted the practical application of theoretical knowledge, while also encouraging teamwork and active engagement.
