The specialists of German Society of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Kinder- und Jugendmedizin, DGKJ) are YSMU guests: they are on a working visit to “Muratsan” University Hospital.
As part of a series of lectures entitled “Enhancing Child Health in Armenia”, leading specialists of the field discussed with Armenian colleagues on February 4 the peculiarities of pediatric rheumatology, the problems facing pediatrics, the achievements recorded, and the stages of further cooperation.
Prof. Orsolya Genzel Boroviczeny, pediatric neonatologist; Prof. Ulrich Stephani, neuropediatrician; Prof. Gunther Erwin Dannecker, pediatric rheumatologist; Prof. Lucas Wessel, pediatric surgeon; will contribute to the progress of pediatrics in our country and the introduction of necessary innovative approaches through two weeks of intensive meetings and exchange of experiences related to children’s health.
It should be noted that patient consultations are being held with the participation of international colleagues until February 17, in the first half of the day, followed by lectures, in which doctors, clinical residents, and students participate.
