People all over the world celebrate International Heart Day on September 29. The day’s message and purpose are to inform the population once again about the prevention of cardiovascular diseases, the reduction of risk factors and the need for a healthy lifestyle. This year, Yerevan State Medical University professors, accompanied by the Rector Armen Muradyan, have visited the “Nork Marash” Medical Center to congratulate the staff on the professional day.
At the meeting, the newly appointed director Michael Adamyan assured that along with the staff, they will put all effort and energy towards the cardio center which is dynamically growing since the soviet times to apply the special regional role and reputation of it The doctor has also informed that currently the center is working on a special updated projects which will lead to the faster development of the institution.
YSMU Rector Armen Muradyan informed that he and the head Mikayel Adamyan had discussed the prospects of cooperation between the Medical University and Nork Marash Center. Particularly attention will be paid to the creation of new tribunes, training of specialists and the implementation of joint scientific programs.
