Extracurricular projects for YSMU international students

YSMU students got acquainted with extracurricular international educational programs and projects, activities of scientific clubs and societies, as well as other events planned for them.

Yervand Sahakyan, Vice-Rector for International Activities and External Relations; Gayane Avetisyan, Head of the Department of Education for International Students; Khachatur Margaryan, Deputy Head of the Department of Education for International Students; and Rahul Anil Sethi, Head of the Department of Work with International Students, were present at the meeting held in the Red Hall.

Emphasizing the importance of extracurricular activities and welcoming the desire of students to participate in them, Gayane Avetisyan wished the future doctors a productive work. “Senior students can share their experience with junior students and guide them properly,” she added.

Khachatur Margaryan, recalling the history of the establishment of the Council of International Students, stated: “This is the most colorful and powerful period of your life. Sometimes you don't even realize what big changes you can make during your student years. So, keep working and making progress”.

Rahul Anil Sethi emphasized that YSMU doors are open and opportunities are equal for each student. “You must have values, consciousness and honesty. Loyalty is very important. Be loyal to the people, the institute, the organization that made any investment to your life,” he emphasized.

In the framework of the information meeting, the main goals and academic targets of the “COBRAIN” research center, “Dandy” Neurosurgical Club and the Cardiology Society were also presented.
