A two-day master course on echocardiography was launched at Yerevan State Medical University after Mkhitar Heratsi.
The program was designed by the Career Center. It was carried out by YSMU international students Marlyn George, Fiza Khan, Furquan Hashmi, as well as invited cardiologists Sergey Pepoyan, Nare Hambardzumyan, Ani Rapyan and Tatevik Hovhannisyan.
About 300 students participated in the course.
Garnik Avetisyan, Vice-Rector for Postgraduate Education, emphasized that the university encouraged similar initiatives. “The goal of the new initiative is to equip students with practical knowledge and skills, thanks to which they will be successful in their future career,” he noted.
According to the Head of the Career Center, Khachatur Margaryan, cardiology is an important field, and in terms of internationalization of the university, student participation in similar courses is also very important.
At the end of the course, all participants received certificates.
