The year 2022 begins with the summing up of the activities of the 2021 YSMU “COBRAIN” Scientific-Educational Center for Fundamental Brain Research.
In 2021, the construction work of YSMU “COBRAIN” Scientific-Educational Center for Fundamental Brain Research began. The construction of the center is nearing completion, it will soon open its doors.
Before that, it should be noted that YSMU “COBRAIN” program Coordinator, Vice-Rector of the Medical University, Professor Konstantin Yenkoyan, this year as well, is the winner of the competition of the scientific researchers working with high efficiency in the field of scientific and scientific-technical activity programs(or) topics implemented at the expense of the RA state budget approved by the RA Minister of Education and Science. Let's add that two articles have been submitted for publication and are currently under review.
One topic has been guaranteed for the purpose of contractual (thematic) financing of scientific- and scientific-technical activities approved by the order of the RA Minister of Education and Science within the framework of the competition for scientific topics. YSMU will purchase a Seahorse XFe96 analyzer worth about $ 300,000 as a result of the application of the Neuroscience Laboratory for the grant for the provision of financial support for the modernization of infrastructure and material and technical base in the field of science approved by the RA Minister of Education and Science.
The specialists of the Medical University will actively continue the work of the Covid_Antibody և Covid_Neuro research groups, the SCAUT project.
The new Investigator-initiated COQOS research project was funded by Roche Diagnostics.
The Medical University organized two major international events: GitaArar Summer School and the Neuroscience Initiative in Armenia four-day conference.
A post-Covid anosmia information week was conducted, with 5 seminars available online.
