On October 18-20, 2025, students and clinical residents of Yerevan State Medical University participated in the prestigious international conference EAPS 2025 (European Academy of Paediatrics Society), which was held in the capital of Portugal, Lisbon.
EAPS is one of the largest and most influential scientific conferences in the field of pediatrics and neonatology, which brings together leading specialists and young researchers from different countries for the purpose of exchanging scientific experience, acquiring new knowledge and cooperation.
During the conference, future doctors presented a number of research works, which were carried out under the direct supervision of Hripsime Apresyan, Head of the School of Pediatrics; Head of the Infectious Diseases Clinic of “Muratsan” University Hospital.
The presented researches were related to current issues in pediatrics, covering various topics aimed at summarizing clinical experience, analyzing data, and improving healthcare processes.
Within the framework of the newly established but clearly moving forward University School of Pediatrics, this participation was an important opportunity for students to perform on an international scientific platform, present the scientific potential of the University, and deepen cooperation with the world’s leading pediatricians and researchers.
