“Healthcare Management and Organization” Master’s Program of YSMU received international accreditation

The Master’s Program “Healthcare Management and Organization” implemented by the Faculty of Public Health has received international accreditation of the curriculum by the Agency For Public Health Education Accreditation (APHEA). This Agency is a prestigious European and internationally recognized independent organization that assesses the quality of public health education based on pan-European standards and best international practices, and the accreditation of curricula implemented by the Agency is an indicator of high confidence in terms of the quality of educational content, structural integrity, and consistency of learning outcomes.

This achievement is an important result of the consistent and purposeful work of our University’s educational policy and quality assurance system. The accreditation of the program confirms that its educational content, structure, learning outcomes, as well as the assessment and continuous improvement mechanisms fully comply with international standards for public health education.

Being validated gives the program a number of strategic advantages. It significantly increases the international recognition and reputation of the program, contributes to the expansion of the University’s international academic presence, and also creates a basis for the development of new international partnerships, joint educational initiatives, and student and faculty mobility programs. It also contributes to strengthening the University’s international reputation and visibility.

At the same time, this accreditation significantly increases the competitiveness of the program’s graduates in the national and international labor market. This is also an important step for the public health system of the Republic of Armenia, preparing highly qualified specialists who can be effectively involved in the development of health policy, system planning, and management processes.
