Strengthening the bridge between Armenia and California: Rector and Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry were awarded certificates of appreciation

Ahead of International Dentists Day, a professional holiday celebrated on February 9, YSMU Rector, Professor Armen Muradyan, and Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, President of the Armenian Dental Association, Professor Lazar Yessayan, were awarded certificates of appreciation by the American Dental and Medical Institute, as well as the Los Angeles City Council, California.

“The certificate of appreciation is awarded to Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Armen Muradyan in recognition for his invaluable contribution to the development of healthcare, education, his effective leadership as rector of Yerevan State Medical University and his efforts to unite students, physicians with the California and American Dental and Medical Institute. We look forward to welcoming you to Glendale to host and organize the next Congress”, the certificate mentions.
It should be noted that the invitation of the American side by the Los Angeles City Council of the US state of California, represented by Monica Rodriguez, assumes the cooperation of Yerevan State Medical University, the Armenian Dental Association, the American Dental and Medical Institute, as well as American state institutions in organizing and holding this year’s professional meeting.
The document of gratitude addressed to Dean Lazar Yessayan emphasizes: “The certificate of appreciation is given to the Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Lazar Yessayan, in recognition of his great contribution to the development of dental services and education in Armenia as President of the Armenian Dental Association and Dean of the Faculty of Stomatology of Yerevan State Medical University. His collaboration with the American Dental and Medical Institution and CEO Dr. Mehran Daoudian has strengthened the bridge between Armenia and California, inspiring many physicians to become outstanding specialists and educators”.

It should be added that the Rector of YSMU and the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry were also awarded certificates by the California Naturopathic Association.
