On 26 January 2026, the 77th Republic Day morning event was organized by the Embassy of India. The program commenced with the Ambassador Nilakshi Saha Sinha’s address. Students and staff of Yerevan State Medical University participated in the cultural segment.

World Hindi Day was celebrated at the Mahatma Gandhi Auditorium of Yerevan State Medical University after Mkhitar Heratsi. The participants were greeted first in Armenian and then in Hindi by Her Excellency Nilakshi Saha Sinha, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to the Republic of Armenia.

35 international students who completed the “Tropical Diseases” educational program at “Mikayelyan” University Hospital were awarded graduation certificates. Since October of the 2019-2020 academic year, the Career Development Center of YSMU, together with the Department of Infectious Diseases and the International Students’ Academic Affairs Department, has introduced a 40-hour program of additional lectures entitled “Tropical Diseases” in English.
The Master’s Program “Healthcare Management and Organization” implemented by the Faculty of Public Health has received international accreditation of the curriculum by the Agency For Public Health Education Accreditation (APHEA).
Returning to their Alma Mater is already a beautiful tradition for Indian graduates. Muthiah Ramanathan returned to Armenia 30 years after entering the university, this time not as a first-year student, but as a doctor who has established himself in his homeland.
HISTOVISION 2025 was successfully conducted on 27th November 2025 with remarkable enthusiasm and active participation from students across multiple countries.
