Within the scope of his working visit to the USA, YSMU Rector, Professor Armen Muradyan held a meeting with Armenian doctors and healthcare specialists of the University of Southern California (USC).
The Armenian Medical Workers Union, which has 200 members, currently operates in this famous university.
Sincere and effective discussions were held in various directions of cooperation.
Saro Khemichyan, Professor of the University of Southern California, Head of the Hepatitis Center and Visiting Professor of YSMU was also present at the meeting. He had returned to the US from Armenia a few days ago, where he had spent several months at the “Mikayelyan” Institute of Surgery of YSMU. Saro Khemichyan expressed warmth and satisfaction about the working experience in our country.
During the meeting, the main directions of cooperation were decided: trainings, exchange programs, scientific cooperation, support in the matter of medical equipment.
