YSMU Rector Armen Muradyan held meetings with the representatives of the largest US medical centers – Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Medicine as part of his working visit.
Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is the largest multidisciplinary hospital complex, which is considered one of the best centers in the USA according to various rankings.
Discussions with the heads of the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center clinics were held on educational, clinical and scientific cooperation. At the end of the meeting, an agreement was reached on the preparation of a memorandum of cooperation between YSMU and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
The University of California, Los Angeles School of Medicine is considered one of the world leaders in medical education, and YSMU has cooperated with this university for years.
During the meeting, the issues of exchange of students and clinical residents, involvement in global health programs, as well as joint scientific work were discussed.
