On February 12th, Career Center Cardiology Society (YCS) and MedExplora hosted a workshop to introduce students to the fundamentals of research.In particular, the following key steps were addressed such as finding mentors and exploring research areas.
The session was designed for beginners looking to build a strong foundation in research. Practical tips were shared on starting research.
The event began with a welcome address by Ms.Rithikha Raghupathy, President of YCS. Mr. Foad Mrizaei and Ms. Lila Agbaria from MedExplora then led the session, guiding participants through the research process.
The event also featured a live podcast with Prof. Hayarpi Sahakyan, a distinguished lecturer in Bioethics and Research Ethics; as well as a walk-in poster session and a student perspective video. The session was engaging and informative, helping attendees take their first steps into research.
Certificates were provided to all participants.
