The 40th congress of the European Association of Pediatric Infectious Diseases held in Athens was also attended by the Armenian delegates of Muratsan University Hospital, representing the 100-year-old medical university. Sose Margaryan, as a coordinator of the reanimation department, participated in the Meet the Expert session, which was dedicated to the infections of the joint system. Violeta Manukyan, clinical resident of the same department, participated in the WALTER MARGET EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOP within the framework of the conference, during which interesting clinical cases are discussed and presented. Anahit Grigoryan, Doctor of the Pediatric Clinic No. 1 of the University Hospital, post-graduate student of the Chair of Pediatrics No. 1 of YSMU presented the poster-report “RISK FACTORS OF THE SEVERE COURSE OF COVID-19 IN NEONATES AND INFANTS”
Experts note that the participation in the conference was effective in terms of the exchange of experience, cooperation, especially in the treatment of COVID-19. It should be noted that during this important medical event, researchers and specialists from Europe and around the world discussed issues related to the examination, treatment and prevention of infectious diseases among children.
