On September 29th XX international two-day congress of Armenian urologic association dedicated to famous urologist professor Yuri Zohrabyan’s 80th anniversary continued.
Appreciating professor’s experience many professors, doctors came to congratulate him. YSMU Rector Armen Muradyan congratulating his elder colleague, mentioned that Yuri Zohrabyan proved his loyalty to his profession and with his wisdom created new generation, who work for their nation.
In his speech Rector also highlighted such scientific events։ “For me the meetings of this association have always been and will be the most important scientific event for many years. I feel in this profession like at home, in the family. Young urologists try to sum up their way during conferences with their senior friends, “he said. According to Armen Muradyan, the urology would not have been established if there were not desirable teachers who once were world leaders, who have brought and developed all possible urological directions in Armenia.
Armen Muradyan awarded Yuri Zohrabyan with YSMU medal for his invaluable role in the history of YSMU and in the development of urology in Armenia, for the training young specialists and for the long and impeccable academic and pedagogical activity.
Yuri Zohrabyan has also received gifts from the Armenian Urological Association.
