By the invitation of the Armenian Association of Ultrasound Diagnostics in Obstetrics and Gynaecology a well-known specialist from Israel, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Dan Walsky was in Yerevan, YSMU lecturing his copyright material on the topic “Small fetus: Doppler in obstetrics: Placental insufficiency” .
According to YSMU head of the course “Ultrasound diagnostics in fetal medicine” Karine Tokhunts, direct professional meetings and contacts have decreased in the previous two years.
“We listened to Professor Walsky with great interest. A doctor is obliged to study all his life, because the “White Army” also stands behind the saving of human lives, and in our case, it is about two lives at the same time,” elaborated Karine Tokhunts, adding that she was impressed by the laconic, up-to-date professional material of the guest professor.
It should be noted that Dan Walsky represented the prestigious Hadassah Mount Scopus Medical Hospital in Jerusalem, where he heads a separate department. He is a sought-after specialist in prenatal diagnosis and fetal therapy, high-risk pregnancy management, obstetrics and other modern areas of gynaecology.
The event was certified with continuing professional development credits.
