Sri Lankan future doctors of the Medical University presented an invitation to YSMU Rector Armen Muradyan to celebrate their national Solar New Year.
The students appeared at the meeting in beautiful national costumes. The Rector gladly accepted the invitation, reaffirming his willingness to support in any situation.
Invitation cards were also presented to Yervand Sahakyan, Vice-Rector for International Affairs and External Relations; and Khachatur Margaryan, Vice-Rector for Development and Marketing.
In many cultures in South and Southeast Asia, the Solar New Year is traditionally celebrated on April 14. On that day, at 2:30 PM, will be filled with a festive atmosphere.
More than 150 Sri Lankan students will present their national culture with interesting song and dance performances.
