The COVID-19 pandemic has caused innumerable consequences and inconveniences for the whole world. Maintaining quarantine measures and keeping a regulatory check on all international students studying away from home was absolutely vital.
This was carried out by many volunteers and doctors who worked day and night to ensure safety and health of the students.
One such hero was Doctor Karine Poghosyan. Today, on 23rd March 2022, a Certificate of Appreciation as a token of gratitude and love, was presented by the Faculty Council of International Students of YSMU Students' Parliament to Dr. Karine Poghosyan, Chief Epidemiologist at University Hospital for her tireless efforts in helping the international students of Yerevan State Medical University after Mkhitar Heratsi throughout the course of the pandemic.
