At the Congress of the World Psychiatric Association, Khachatur Gasparyan, Head of the Department of Medical Psychology of YSMU, director of the “Intra” center, delivered a lecture on “Intergenerational and collective trauma” in Vienna a few days ago.
“I reflected on the psychological consequences of the 44-day war, the ethnic cleansing organized by the Armenian-hating Azerbaijani-Turkish tandem built on national discrimination and hatred,” the University specialist emphasized.
More than 4,800 mental health professionals from 135 countries participated in the 23rd Congress of the World Psychiatric Association.
