The world-famous Lancet Global Health published a Comment from 65 doctors around the world. The Comment was about the humanitarian catastrophe in Artsakh caused by the war and the coronavirus.
It was sent during the war, but has been published recently. The Comment calls on the international medical community to influence doctors in their governments to make every effort to prevent further military aggression against Artsakh, as well as to facilitate international humanitarian assistance to Armenia and Artsakh, both with resources and professional help.
Among the signatories of the abovementioned Comment are the former Minister of Health of the United Kingdom Lord Ara Darzi, the Laureate of the Royal Norwegian Prize Hayrazat Ghazaryan, YSMU Rector Armen Muradyan, Professor Bjorn Edwin, the Director of the Hematology Center Samvel Danielyan, the Head of the Pediatric Cancer Center Gevorg Tamamyan, well-known doctors Brice Gayet, Luca Aldrighetti, Ivan Kozakov, Shant Shekerdimyan, Ibrahim Dagher, Stavros Antoniou, Garry Aslanyan, as well as other Armenian and foreign doctors.
