Dear students, professors, colleagues, I congratulate you on September 1, the Day of Knowledge and Education.
The new academic year is binding for all of us. For ones, this is another, and for others – the first September 1, full of emotions, expectations.
Congratulating the students who have just entered Yerevan State Medical University, I want to emphasize: I am sure that you are aware of the enormous responsibility you have assumed, joining the ranks of our University students.
Among all professions, the one you choose is of special importance.
This is not just a profession, it is a mission, a dedication, and it will not be an exaggeration if I say it is also a gift.
The challenges of the last years, the pandemic and the war, proved and once again emphasized the importance of your chosen profession and work.
In the rapidly growing world, the need to have versatile, in-depth knowledge is gradually becoming more and more emphasized: this is the main prerequisite for facing the competition, being constantly in demand as a specialist, developing and continuously improving.
Knowledge, initiative can make you a knowledgeable good citizen, which is extremely important especially in these difficult days for Armenia.
The strengthening and development of our state depends on the consistent work and dedication of each of us.
Once again, I congratulate you and wish you a smooth academic year.
