A presentation competition on the latest advancement in cardiology was held at Yerevan State Medical University after Mkhitar Heratsi.
The event was organized by the Cardiology Society whose president is YSMU graduate Marlyn George․ “I would like to announce our latest achievement that YSMU Cardiology Society under the Career Center is officially recognized as the cardiology interest group by the American College of Cardiology last week․ Now you can find YSMU on their official website. We are the only University from this region to be on that list. So, we are a part of American Cardiology Society onwards. This gives Cardiology Society members more opportunities to go to the United States, present and publish research papers and more”, Marlyn George emphasized․
The competition was held for the first time, giving the participants a chance to pass a knowledge test.
9 presentations were shown. 5th year students Khushbu Bhatnagar and Udhay bagged first and second places.
The judges were YSMU lecturers Ani Rapyan and Nina Muradyan.
