“Symphonic Mansuryan” charity concert was dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the immortal hero Vahe Meliksetyan

On November 5, the charity concert entitled “Symphonic Mansuryan” at the Aram Khachatryan concert hall was dedicated to the 35th anniversary of Vahe Meliksetyan, who died in the 44-day Artsakh war.

Under the leadership of conductor Harutyun Arzumanyan, the State Symphony Orchestra of Armenia performed the music written by composer Tigran Mansuryan for movies and theater performances.

At the beginning of the evening and afterwards, the famous musician regularly presented himself to the audience with comments and stories about the music he composed in different years.

The 2020 war in Artsakh took the life of Vahe Meliksetyan, a promising clinical pharmacist, scientist, lecturer of the Department of Clinical Pharmacology at YSMU, and simply a patriot and true Armenian.

In order to bring into life Vahe’s professional ideas and dreams, the “Vahe Meliksetyan” Educational-Medical Foundation was established with the mission of enhancing the clinical pharmacy in Armenia.

It should be noted that the concert was initiated by the State Symphony Orchestra of Armenia, “Vahe Meliksetyan” Educational-Medical foundation and “C-squared” company. The proceeds from ticket sales will go to the “Vahe Meliksetyan” Foundation to support students forcibly displaced from Artsakh.
