The set of materials called “Heroes of our days” presents the heroic stories of about thirty YSMU graduates and students. The large-scale Azerbaijani-Turkish war unleashed against Artsakh on September 27 took away from us future doctors, military doctors and pharmacists: they gave their lives for life.
In Armenia there are 68 higher education institutions (56 universities, 12 branches). 4295 foreign students are enrolled in 68 higher education institutions. 1761 foreign students from 68 universities receive education only in Yerevan State Medical University after Mkhitar Heratsi (clinical ordinates are not among them), that is 41% of foreign students of Armenia receive medical education in YSMU.
