On 26 January 2026, the 77th Republic Day morning event was organized by the Embassy of India. The program commenced with the Ambassador Nilakshi Saha Sinha’s address. Students and staff of Yerevan State Medical University participated in the cultural segment. Students Rachael D’Souza, Riddhima Gulati, Rubin Matthew, and Ishika Guru presented a dance performance. Dr. Rahul Sethi recited a poem during the event. The Dean Gayane Avetisyan and Vice-Rector Yervand Sahakyan were also present on the occasion.
On the occasion of 77th Republic day of the Republic of India, in the evening, the students Jiya Varghese, Prashansa Garg, Bless Ros, Anto Mandovi, Aysel Johns of YSMU performed the cultural semi-classical dance, and the officials of the University attended the program at Marriott Hotel.
