Yerevan State Medical University after Mkhitar Heratsi
YSMU graduate Hooman Amirifadiheh has made a clear decision: he will live and work in Armenia. The young Iranian graduated from the Faculty of General Medicine, and will study traumatology clinical residency in Armenian.
Armen Muradyan, Rector of Yerevan State Medical University (YSMU) after Mkhitar Heratsi, received a delegation led by Talip Kurumehmet, Managing Director, EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) at Cedars-Sinai International.
The “Doctor’s Path” project, launched about 5 years ago at the initiative of the YSMU Career Development Center, continues its successful journey, guiding future doctors on their difficult but infinitely humanitarian path through theoretical and practical skills.
In the 100-year-old forge of medical personnel 1275 specialists provide education to the students, of which 1000 are lecturers, 221 are assistants, and 54 are invited specialists. 448 of them are candidates of sciences, 148 are doctors of sciences, 88 are professors, 164 are associate professors, and 3 are academicians. More than 70 Visiting Professors.
