Yerevan State Medical University is hosting the 15th Asian Congress (SIOP Asia) of the International Society for Pediatric Oncology. The International Society of Pediatric Oncology is the only multidisciplinary organization in the world dedicated entirely to the study, treatment, and advancement of knowledge in all aspects of pediatric and adolescent cancer.

Pupils for the defenders of the motherland Ahead of January 28, the ''Heratsi'' high school of YSMU held an event for the defenders of the motherland. Since the summer, the children have been organizing various actions, exhibitions and sales of their handicrafts in order to make a surprise for the soldiers with the money raised.
Indian graduate Prachi Aggarwal has been fortuitous in being a part of a great institution such as YSMU, but it helped achieve her lifelong dream of becoming a doctor.
The article “Overview of Cancer Control in Armenia and Policy Implications” by YSMU specialists, which was published in 2022 in the famous scientific journal “Frontiers in Oncology” (impact factor 5.7), was recognized as the most reviewed of the year.
