Yerevan State Medical University after Mkhitar Heratsi
At the Annual Congress of the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI Congress 2026), held in Istanbul on June 12–15, Armenia and Yerevan State Medical University after Mkhitar Heratsi were represented by Associate Professor of the Department of Clinical Immunology and Allergology, PhD Zaruhi G. Kalikyan.
Yerevan State Medical University Department of Hygiene and Ecology Associate Professor Armen Mkrtchyan visited the University of Málaga within the framework of the Erasmus TransFront EU program for teaching staff, held on May 11–15, 2026, with the purpose of delivering lectures at the Departments of Pharmacy and Pediatrics.
The working week at YSMU concluded with the final 18th “Training of Trainers” (ToTs) session of the “HENAR” Foundation’s Health Care Specialists Education Program, which was followed by the graduation ceremony for the first-year participants.
In the 100-year-old forge of medical personnel 1275 specialists provide education to the students, of which 1000 are lecturers, 221 are assistants, and 54 are invited specialists. 448 of them are candidates of sciences, 148 are doctors of sciences, 88 are professors, 164 are associate professors, and 3 are academicians. More than 70 Visiting Professors.
