Yerevan State Medical University after Mkhitar Heratsi
At the proposal of Professor Ara Babloyan, Chairman of the Board of Governors and Scientific Director of the Arabkir Medical Center–Institute of Child and Adolescent Health, renowned physician-urologist, Professor and pediatric urology specialist Paul Merguerian will join the distinguished ranks of visiting professors of Yerevan State Medical University.
Held on September 22–25, the event brought together physicians, scientists, lecturers, and healthcare professionals from Armenia and abroad with the aim of exchanging professional experience, contemporary approaches, and best international practices.
Yerevan State Medical University after Mkhitar Heratsi hosted H.E. Thongkhomang Armstrong Changsan, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to the Republic of Armenia.
In the 100-year-old forge of medical personnel 1275 specialists provide education to the students, of which 1000 are lecturers, 221 are assistants, and 54 are invited specialists. 448 of them are candidates of sciences, 148 are doctors of sciences, 88 are professors, 164 are associate professors, and 3 are academicians. More than 70 Visiting Professors.
