November 23 was a festive day for Armenian and Indian students at YSMU. After a 4-year break, the “Indian Cultural Night”, which has become a 25-year tradition, was restored.
Those who have ever attended this event will assure: it is a great opportunity to communicate with the rich Indian culture.
The guests and participants were welcomed by Armen Muradyan, Rector of YSMU; Nilakshi Saha Sinha, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to the Republic of Armenia; Vice-Rectors, teaching staff, and those responsible for the education of international students.
The importance of holding a cultural evening after the break was emphasized from the point of view of strengthening Armenian-Indian friendship and cooperation.
Indian students studying in our country presented songs and dances in national costumes, as well as the diverse cuisine.
About 400 guests were present at the long-awaited festive evening. The cultural night was a success, providing an opportunity for those present to experience the Indian spirit and traditions in Armenia.
