Professor Levon Nazarian is the person who made an invaluable contribution to the development of ultrasound diagnosis in Armenia. He was born in the United States, New Jersey. He is a Professor of Radiology and Vice Chair for Education at Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University, as well as the President of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine.
16/05/2022According to the results of the first stage of the university admission process of the 2022/2023 academic year, more than 1000 applicants applied to Yerevan State Medical University. It is 40% more than the 696 (605 paidand 91 free) places provided by the university. According to the executive secretary of the YSMU Admissions Committee KostandinManukyan, there will probably be no vacancies in the faculties of general medicine, dentistry and military medicine this year. 73 applicants applied for the 90 places allocated to the Faculty of Pharmacy (85 paid and 5 free).
