The last day of the 15th Asian Congress of the International Society of Pediatric Oncology (SIOP) at YSMU was full of meetings, discussions, experience exchanges.
May 18 was the pre-launch day of the 15th Asian Conference of the International Society of Pediatric Oncology (SIOP)․ With sessions in different auditoriums, posters at the entrances of the buildings and other events, YSMU was filled with the spirit of the upcoming 4-day event.
On May 17-18, the 5th meeting of the Armenian-German School of Oncology (ARGOS) took place at Yerevan State Medical University . Lilit Harutyunyan, lecturer of the Department of Oncology of YSMU, head of the Oncology Clinic of Mikayelyan University Hospital, made an introductory speech at the conference, noting that various aspects of oncology, such as surgical, gynecological, dermatological cancer will be discussed during this event as well as management issues related to oncology.
Within the framework of the “Neuroscience Week” event Yerevan State Medical University named after Mkhitar Heratsi hosted the Closing Conference of EU HORIZON 2020 COBRAIN Project – “Armenia Center for Translational Research on Chronic Neurodegenerative Disorders: Neuroscience Initiative on Maintaining Healthy Brain Ageing”. “COBRAIN” is the first EU HORIZON 2020 program in Armenia, coordinated by YSMU.
