Professor Christoph Gleiter, Visiting Professor at the Department of Clinical Pharmacology of Yerevan State Medical University; the scientific director of the “Clinical Research” courses of the Center for Health Sciences and Medicine in Germany, Doctor of Clinical Pharmacology at Tübingen University, is impressed with the YSMU “COBRAIN” center.
Indian graduates do not forget their Alma Mater even after decades: 27 years after graduation, 50-year-old Poonam Mehta (Dabas) is setting foot in the Medical University for the first time, where every door is familiar, where the most precious memories awaken, condensing the achievements, growth and knowledge of the years.
On 20th December, Blue Hall came alive with a packed audience of almost 200 attendees for an enriching event by YSMU Career Development Center Cardiology Society (YCS) in collaboration with “Lanzzete”.
The book “Digitalization of Medicine in Low- and Middle-Income Countries” was published in Switzerland. Co-authors of the book are: Karine Sargsyan, YSMU Honorary Professor, WHO expert; Zisis Kozlakidis, Head of the Laboratory Services and Biobanking at IARC/WHO; and YSMU Rector, Professor Armen Muradyan.
Future endocrinologist Hivi Kumanayake has come to Armenia from Sri Lanka. 3rd year student of the Faculty of General Medicine chose to come to Armenia as he heard YSMU had a really good education system which was affordable as well. According to him, YSMU has an amazing staff.
